Blogger was being uncooperative yesterday, so this post is a day late.
This past weekend was exceptionally productive.
I spent most of the time in my craft room working on new accessories.
Over the past year or so, I have amassed a ton of vintage trim. I've used some of it on my clothing designs, but I had always intended to use the trim for accessories. Finally, I did just that.
Here are some of the headbands I made.
Most of the headbands were made from my vintage trim collection. There are a few made from vintage fabric, one made from a vintage bow tie, and another that I made using the bead work from a discarded sari.
I also made a bunch of new Little Pretties ....
...and decorated a few plain vintage buttons.
All in all it was a pretty good weekend!

I know.. my little brother just turned seventeen a few weeks ago and started his senior year!! It feels like he was just watching Barney {ugh.. annoying days indeed} and asking me to read him a story. Now he "knows" everything and is WAY cooler than I am. Ha
